The first choice on the panel is whether you want a single image or video, or multiple images for your ad. An eye-catching image can make all the difference when it comes to attracting attention to your advertisement when it finally goes live. Make sure that this ties in, though, with what you are offering or want your audience to see. If you are selecting a single image you can choose up to 5 to appear, simply click on the images section and you will see a box appears for you to add more images. I recommend adding a few different images and monitoring which appeals more to your audience, the audience preference has surprised me on more than one occasion!
There is also the option to create your own business Facebook page if you have not already done so. Without a Business Page, if you place an ad it will appear on the right of the audience page. If you have a Facebook page, you can then opt to have your ad appear within the actual news feed which could give it more chance of being noticed and acted upon.
Next comes the text for your ad. You need to make sure that this connects effectively with what you want to get your potential customer to do. Try to keep your focus on one particular concept rather than going off at a tangent and keep everything easy to understand. Your ad should be relevant to what your audience see when they click on the link and head to their destination. In other words, you need to fulfill that person’s expectations completely if you want more chance of making the conversion you are looking for.
