The Last Hurdle™ have supported Gemma and The Lighthouse Centre this year on 3x separate occasions – nominating her charity to be recipients of a spot raffle at one of the Nova Network Meetings our own Jules White is chair, of course raising £456 at our Big Birthday Bash and the substantial time and marketing efforts we donated for Cruella Skyfall.
I can’t tell you how proud I am that we were even nominated, never mind being a finalist! Everyone did their bit for these events but recognition must go to Sylvia Allen whom we all know has an extra ordinary talent for patting people down, gaining raffle prizes and helping to organise the Big Birthday Bash, she did a tremendous job with Cruella’s family fun day too! A large proportion of the recognition for this nomination must be Sylvia’s! Jules White
Pride of Northamptonshire Finalists – The recognition is great, but it isn’t why we make the effort to support local charities. As a team we feel fortunate that we are in a position to give back to our communities, despite being a youngish company we have supported local charities every year.
Thank you to all our connections, business friends & family for contributing to our charity efforts and a big thank you to Gemma and her team for nominating us. Three of our team members will be attending the award ceremony on Friday 27th September, we will of course let you know if we win!
